Egypt: Day 1

We meet our personal guide, who accompanied us to visit Giza. We visited one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops,Chephren and Mykerinus, Famous Sphinx, and Valley temple, Egyptian Museum, Treasure room of king Tutankhamen. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then we continued driving to Islamic Cairo's old bazaar.


Egyptian Museum:

 There are seven sections in the Museum:
  • The first section : Tutankhamon's treasures.
  • The second section : the pre-dynasty and the Old Kingdom monuments.
  • The third section : the first intermediate period and the Middle Kingdom monuments.
  • The forth section : the monuments of the Modern Kingdom.
  • The fifth section : the monuments of the late period and the Greek and Roman periods.
  • The sixth section : coins and papyrus.
  • The seventh section : sarcophagi and scrabs
The Egyptian antiquities were really detailed and beautiful. By the, detailed drawing, it looked like the Pharaohs were very ambitious and hard-working. 
I even saw many mummified mummies and animals.


The Great Sphinx of Giza:

 Its a mythical creature with a head of a human and body of a lion.

Talent Show

It was a hot day, in PIE ( Pondok Indah International School). My school was gigantic like a herd of elephants. On friday afternoon , I was on my way to my P.E class. Suddenly a loud voice from behind, GAYATRI, GAYATRI. It was my friend, Sanya shouting to wait for her. Sanya ran as fast as she could and reached my pace . She couldn’t wait to ask me ”Are you doing something for the fantastic, amazing talent show? ” WHAT TALENT SHOW , WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ?” I asked her ignorantly.  Sanya was stunned, that I didn’t know about the talent show, she eagerly shared that it is a show where you present your talent to the audience . The View From My Bedroom Window...

The view from my bedroom window is amazing!!! My next-door friend, Veronica is always sitting on the park bench wearing a purple gown, with her beautiful sun hat.  Every day, she sits there and makes bracelets out of rubber bands.  She makes various types of bracelets, which is pretty cool to watch. I wish she could teach me how to make them, because it looks very pretty. Then there are these two naughty little boys, Dan and Jimmy, annoying their grandma; their grandma yells their names loud. It is real fun to watch, as the boys’ race to pond and come back, Jimmy falls down. OUCH!! That, might not be funny, but guess what, Jimmy starts laughing at himself. Which, I guess is CRAZY!!! Their, next game always would be playing with the blue ponies. The boys are always eager to play with the ponies, as the ponies wag their tail.
